California: One of the crazier drops from the Palisades Fire this week. The pilot pulls out of the drop hard. If you listen, you can hear the jet engines really working hard coming out of the drop. Maybe a slight issue with the doors after the drop is made? Or maybe just some residual retardant coming out. Either way, pretty incredible. The Palisades Fire is now 22% contained and the Eaton Fire has drastically increased containment to 55%. The Hurst Fire is basically wrapped up at 98% contained. California: Dozers have started to smash through roads filled with Mercedes, BMWs, Porsches, Teslas, and Bentleys that were abandoned in the middle of the roads blocking firefighters from responding to the Palisades Fire. #wildfire #cafire Now that the dozers have pushed these vehicles out of the way, they can now access houses that are on fire. 📷: KTLA

Fire activity continues in California: The Sandy Fire continues to eat away on the Southern portion of the fire. Crews and heavy equipment are engaged. A new start called the Bain Fire in Riverside county, is very active and evacuations have been ordered. The fire is burning in the Santa Ana River bottom, off Limonite Ave. 6 air tankers are on a no divert order due to property and life threat. And additional 25 engines have also been ordered. New Start, Alberta Canada: Evacuations have been ordered due to a wildfire burning in Woodlands County and near the town of Whitecourt. The fire is listed as “out of control” and is very active. People living east of Range Road 114 and south of Highway 43, including the West Ridge subdivision, are being asked to evacuate. Canada picking up in activity. Scary situation unfolding in Woodward, Oklahoma as the 43 Fire enters the town, pushing towards homes. Residents are scrambling to evacuate as firefighters intimidated to try and slow the fire down inside the town. The town has a population of 11,750 people. 📷: Daryle Stewart

Incredible footage from the Adams Complex Fires outside Kamloops, British Columbia. #canada #wildfire In the first video we see a “firenado” along the lake shore. The cool temperatures of the water combined with the convective heat of the fire created this incredible phenomenon. The second video shows the fire activity durning the daytime. A fire camp of nearly 400 personnel had to be evacuated as the fire approached. Wild scenes. Thanks for the subscriber that shared these 📷. Cheers brother. 🙏🍻

I’ve received too many messages to ignore the obvious… It sounds like the Park Fire is totally f*cked. #cafire #cawx #wildfire #parkfire Numerous resources self demobed today after the fire jumped a 16 blade wide dozer push, that’s the footage below. I’ve been told another dozer burned up today, and the operator received burns to the face and neck. Multiple crew members got singed while trying to catch spots and hold the line. They were talking about suppression repair yesterday, and today they are worried about the fire pushing into Mineral. At least they have prepped around that community extensively. I’ve been told Heavy equipment is scattered and overhead doesn’t know what they got, and head fire is slamming dozer line that folks were told not to burn off. That’s very odd to not fire off dozer line when you expect head fire to slam into it. This fire started in the worst way… I’d hate to see it end in the worst way as well. Yes, this is a massive fire that is difficult to manage, totally understandable. But the flood of messages in my inbox tells me the Swiss Cheese model is starting to line up.

Take a flight across the Canadian fires. #wildfire #smoke #canada A look at the truly amazing size of some of these Canadian fires. This is the fire burning near Edson, Alberta which recently prompted more evacuations. There are many fires currently burning throughout Canada this size. Crews have been using natural barriers, dozer line, and firing operations to try and box these fires in. Thanks to the subscriber that sent this footage in. Cheers brother. 🙏🍻

The entire town of Ruidoso, New Mexico is being evacuated… population nearly 8,000 people. #wildfire #nmfire The South Fork, Salt, and Penn Scott Fires have turned into this town’s worst nightmare. I have fought fire there numerous times, including on the Blue 2 Fire. This is right near where the Smokey Bear museum is located.

Pure chaos as the Jones Fire in New Jersey rips through neighborhoods. The fire was last estimated at 3,200 acres. This is insane Fire behavior for New Jersey, or just about anywhere. Good luck to anyone in there trying to fight that thing. This is just crazy.

More views of the wildfire ripping across Long Island, New York. Fire resources from across the state are responding to the fire near the Hamptons. The column can be seen in Connecticut and aviation is overhead. Current temps are 42 degrees with sustained winds pushing 30MPH+.

Greece arrests 79 people for wildfire arson across the country. As I have talked about at length on the podcast and in my articles, The fires in Spain and Greece were likely arson related. Local Firefighters and politicians have been saying it for months and I first made mention of it back in April of this year. I have consistently called them human scum on the show since speaking on this topic. Well today, Civil Protection Minister Vassilis Kikilias, had the same thing to say: "Arsonist scum are setting fires that threaten forests, property and, most of all, human lives. You are committing a crime against the country. You will not get away with it, we will find you, you will be held accountable.” On April 1st, I reported Spain and the Asturias regional President Adrián Barbón saying “the full weight of the law would come down on the fire terrorists.” He went on to say that the fires were started in an organized way by criminals taking advantage of the adverse weather conditions. 20 people have died as a result of the fires in Greece, including firefighters.

Incredible footage from the Oklahoma fire near Tyrone. A rancher named Cody grabbed his tractor and disc to start building line around his and his neighbors fields. Along with the Ranger Road Fire, these Oklahoma fires burned an estimated acreage nearing 200,000 acres. 🌾 Honky Tonk Presidente 🌾 was sent this footage from the rancher.

Incredible footage from the Park Fire outside Chico, California. 72k+ acres of destruction from a car lit on fire and hucked into a ravine. “A 42 year old man was arrested by CalFire arson investigators… seen pushing a car that was on fire into a gully”

This footage shows the size, scale, and severity of the Fire weather event that took place on the Deer Creek Fire in La Sal, Utah. One individual said they believed a skid plate off a Toyota Tacoma was hurled and hit their fire apparatus. The shear size and velocity of this vortex that came through the fire area is staggering. This is Mother Nature at her most unpredictable and awe inspiring state. All while wildfire is ripping across the landscape. The fire has grown to 11,044 acres and firefighters have been able to reach 7% containment after regrouping post wind event. Great Basin Complex Incident Management Team 4 and firefighters have been able to punch in line and complete strategic firing operations to gain some ground on containment. Thanks to the subscriber who shared this view of the crazy weather event on the Deer Creek Fire. 🙏
