For him not to be at the club’s biggest game in their history is disgraceful, and even disrespectful to the fans that have stood by him throughout his fairly inconsistent time at the club. Even if we do stay up, I don’t see any way Cristian Romero can be a part of this club going forward. I’ll forever be grateful for his incredible contribution in Bilbao on this day last year, but I just don’t see any way back from this. A really sad way to go out.
