In Lebanon, there is no ceasefire. For 10 minutes yesterday, the whole country came under heavy Israeli bombardment. Israel says it targeted Hezbollah. But busy, densely populated residential areas were hit: it knew that it would lead to a high number of casualties. More than 200 people have been killed, over 800 injured, according to the health ministry. Lebanon’s president called it a “massacre”. Our report for the BBC News at Ten last night.
