Angel Reese: “I think LSU, by itself, has put women’s basketball on the map. We’ve grown women’s basketball for being who we are.”

Kim Mulkey and Dawn Staley embrace before tip in front of a sold out PMAC. Almost showtime.

Harlem Berry: "I'm from Louisiana. I'm from New Orleans. All I knew was LSU growing up. When I was getting recruited, I tried to fake it like I was going somewhere else. But I always wanted to come here. Knowing (the new staff) wanted me back was something real special."

Princewill Umanmielen: This isn't a first year build thing. We're trying to go all the way. If you have that mindset, this ain't the place for you.

Brian Kelly: "You lose, arguably, your best defensive player in the first series. Then his brother goes down. But we've got a third Weeks. So we brought in the third Weeks."

Jay Johnson. Always recruiting.

Scratch that. This is definitely the scariest sight in college baseball.

Jay Johnson to LSU fans: "You know what I love about all of you? It doesn't matter if it's Wednesday in the middle of June, if it's in Baton Rouge or Omaha, or 1:17 a.m. – you never run out of energy."

Lane Kiffin: "The competition is always open. I told them today: Jackson Harris was the offensive player of the game and he didn't start the first game. So, you can pout, be on second team and feel sorry for yourself or you can work really hard and prove us wrong."

Lane Kiffin: "Last week is over. It won't matter. Everything has to be the same as last Saturday. I challenge our fans the same. The fans were electric. Let's bring it again."

Lane Kiffin: "That's what LSU's supposed to be. It's why we're here. That's the LSU swagger. That's the energy. That's how the stadium is supposed to be."

"Our program here at LSU will be designed, top to bottom, to be the No. 1 destination for elite players in all of America. That's why we're here." "The mission is simple. Bring the best players in the country to LSU."

"When you committed here, you said you wanted to do both basketball and music. How do you think you've done trying to manage both aspects of your life?" Flau'jae: "Not trying. Did." Mic drop.

Lane Kiffin: “I know I said it – and it’s floating around – but as (prospects) come to visit, they say the same thing: it’s just different. It’s a different feeling when you come here. That’s not the financial piece, that’s LSU.”

For the ninth time in 10 years, LSU Football keeps the 175-pound Golden Boot where it belongs in Baton Rouge.

“I’ve played in big games. I’ve been to every stadium. I’ve seen it all. But I could never quite capture that LSU experience.” Tyrann Mathieu on #TigersWin:

Absolutely loved this answer from Lane Kiffin. "When I got off that plane and I saw the board there and I saw the leadership – I felt the power of this place. Then you go by Tiger Stadium and it's lit up. You're like, I absolutely made the right decision."

TJ Dottery on following Lane Kiffin to LSU: “I felt like this was the best decision for me. The major one being the scheme on defense.” “Why not go play for the coach who gave me an opportunity when a lot of other coaches didn’t at that time?”

Jay Johnson praises LSU Baseball fans, who have met the challenge and toughed it out – all year long. “I’m the luckiest guy in the world because my fans will stay.” “Now, we have to work on their alarm clocks because the send-off for the team was a little light this morning.”

Derek Curiel on the move to CF: "I've played center my whole life, in middle school and high school. Last year I played left field and now that's something I have under my belt." "I always wanted to come here and play center field like Dylan Crews."

Kim Mulkey on a sold-out PMAC: "This is why they came to LSU, for that crowd. They used to see that on TV and now they are a part of it. They embrace that. If you don't like that, don't come to LSU."

Winnie Watkins: "I'm trying to show elite traits in run after the catch, contested catches – stuff like that. I'm growing in that and want to continue growing in having elite traits. Once I step into that elite box, nobody can compete with me."

“Adversity happens. Change happens. But you know what? This is LSU.” That’s our AD 💪

Jay Johnson: "Literally, the best part of me being the head coach at LSU is the relationship that I have with Coach Bertman. He came into the locker room today – and I knew he was coming, but it still caught me off guard – and I was like we're winning today."

Kim Mulkey on Flau'jae Johnson: "When I think of LSU, and all the tremendous athletes that have played sports here, her name is going to be right up there with them." "The greatest story of all, to me, is she stayed four years at LSU and will graduate."

Loved this quote today from LSU President Dr. Wade Rousse. "At LSU, we do not gather to celebrate mediocrity. We do not aim to simply be competitive. We aim to be elite. That is the standard. That is the expectation. That's why we're here today."
