The most nauseating trend is turning temple visits into publicity events-photographers in tow, selfies at the shrine, followed by wide circulation through influencers. And why VIP darshan at Lalbaugcha Raja? I always thought that before God, the billionaire, the celebrity and the ordinary devotee were all equal. Shouldn’t everyone stand in the same queue?

Yes, we may complain about potholes. But let’s also celebrate this- India today is building world-class highways, bridges and infrastructure that rival the best anywhere.

Delhi vs Mumbai. Announce a real estate project with this kind of glitz, glamour and dance-floor drama by a promoter- it sells out in Delhi. Do the same in Mumbai- it’ll be a flop as the promoter will not be taken seriously. Different ways of doing business in the two cities!

Just watch Sundar Pichai’s conduct when Trump speaks. He lowers his gaze, listening with respect. Then he folds his hands in a namaste-like gesture. However powerful the position, some values of grace, humility and respect remain deeply Indian.

Xiaomi’s dark factory where AI runs the entire production line, producing a smartphone every second. No workers on the shop floor. No lights. No breaks. AI even monitors, optimises and helps repair the machines. So much for us to learn from China!

With all the headlines screaming that Subhash Chandra got a 99%+ haircut from banks, it is worth listening to his side of the story too. The ₹22,000 crore figure is being widely misunderstood and several facts being circulated are simply wrong. There are always two sides to a story. Do listen before you judge.
