when you sacrifice cinematic flair for "100% manga accuracy" you tend to get an anime that often looks like a slideshow because manga panels aren't storyboards. like for an example this is shot for shot an exact recreation of the manga and you sure can tell!

This was such an insane bag fumble because Baki himself deserves to be in a fighting game just as much, if not more than Yujiro

Genuinely disappointing they didn't go for an actual location from Baki for the Tekken 8 stage the hotel would have been so good because going from the top floor, to the parking lot, then back into the lobby would have made for godlike stage transitions

The final boss of Asura's Wrath having his own QTEs is what made me realize this stuff is legit art
