Returning to American Idol this week has brought back so many feelings! It’s been 22 years since I was a finalist and now I’m back as a mentor and guest judge. And on Disney week too!!! It was a Disney song that marked a major turning point in the competition for me so this really is a full circle moment! I cannot wait to watch as these finalists bring us their Disney best. Tune in tomorrow night at 8/7c!

I hopped on that American Idol roller coaster and it has been going ever since ! I’ve lived a lot of life since that day, but I’m still that same girl from the South Side of Chicago trying to get to my goals ! Thank u all for being on this journey with me !

To record it as a duet with josh groban was such a special moment for me. What a joy it’s been creating this together, and I’m so excited we’ll be performing it live this summer! Josh’s album “Cinematic” is out now! See yall on tour !! ✨
