Few weeks later, he tracks down Obinna to Westlands. He sees Obinna driving to the studioโฆ throws himself in fron of the car. Lucky Obinna wasnโt speeding. Finally Reddie Matere gets Obinna's attention. He stops and listens to the story, and tries to save him. Rents him a mabati house somewhere in Huruma, tries to record him a song because he had claimed to be a rapper. Then did an Interview, and now the plot started twisting. People recognise Reddie Matere from the interview. Turns out heโs not an orphan at all. Both parents are alive and rich. Heโs just a spoilt kid and a petty thief whoโs been stealing since high school Obinna calls Reddie Matere for an Interview, then brings the aunt. During this interview they call his mum, dad, grandmaโฆ Reddie denies knowing ALL of them. The Dad is ready to help him but Reddie Matere has refused. In the end Obinna gives up, hands him 2K and tells him adios. There is an old saying that says, before jumping into someone's mess to save them, make sure youโre not interrupting an important life lesson they need to learn.
