As much as I disagree on many of Shaykh Rabī’s stances, and his harshness (which was also acknowledged by plenty of scholars such as Albānī, Bakr Abu Zayd, the Mufi and co), He was at the end of the day a Scholar who the ulama praised and his efforts in knowledge is known. May Allah have mercy on him Unlike his blind and extreme followers, who rejoice at the death of ulama, we wish good for all Muslims who spent effort in knowledge and da’wah, despite their mistakes. Allah is the judge. Shaykh Abdur Rahman Hassan mentioning how his uncle taught Shaykh Rabī’s kids.

Amidst this recent circulating clip. I messaged our Shaykh, Dr. Mutlaq al-Jāsir the student of Shaykh al-Fawzān, to get his view on the clip and answer. Shaykh Mutlaq حفظه الله responded that Shaykh Sālih al-Fawzān views this as permissible and he sent a link to the Shaykh’s answer in which I have translated below

Faris al-Hammadi shoots himself in the foot again 10 years ago Faris Al Hammadi followed the way of the Khawarij by publically criticising the ruler of Turkiye via a tweet saying Erdoğan is a secularist calling countries to secularism (ironic considering that he’s from the UAE) As far as I’m aware, no public retraction from this. It’s also funny, it’s almost implying ‘criticising rulers is not allowed unless it’s not my country’ which is the country most deserving of criticism

This is the best answer I’ve heard on the issue of the Eid and Jummah Prayers coinciding, backed by evidence and Fiqhi principles which Shaykh Uthmān clearly explains. Makes total sense. Jummah is NOT dropped due to Eid The view he aligns to is the view of the majority, including the Hanafi’s, Malikis, and Shafi’is. Shaykh Uthmān is generally Hanbali but he often makes tarjih based on what he believes to be the strongest views. Here he gives precedence to the Non-Hanbali and majority view.

A man see’s Ronaldo training whilst the Adhaan is playing out loud. And he makes dua for Allah to guide him to Islam, he also reiterates in awe the peace and tranquility of the Adhaan. His reaction is priceless “سبحان الله شوف الطمأنينة في الأذان" “Glory be to God, look at the tranquility from the Call” May Allah please the Muslims, and may Allah guide those with influence to His religion.
