I said no it turned red well after I crossed it, to which she rudely said "kaahi hi bolu naka" which means "dont talk rubbish"! Wow! After that I showed her the video, but SHE STILL INSISTED THAT I WAS WRONG AND I SHOULD PAY THE FINE. SERIOUSLY! NO KIDDING! This is her judgement making ability and she is in law and order? Her last plea to me was that why dont I pay, the fine is just Rs. 500! “Aaya hai to kuch deke hi jaana” attitude?? RIP MATUNGA WADALA 🙏 under our current administration. Outside Don Bosco high school Matunga, on one side there is an open encroachment by Alatamash Khan (mobile number also provided on his banner). Imagine the callousness of our authorities- His cart is blocking a zebra crossing outside a school! Can you beat that? How do kids cross the road? Is there any concern for their safety? I don’t think so. What matters is the hawkers and encroachers. On the other side, opposite Classic restaurant 3 or 4 cars are permanently parked and being worked on by a mechanic. It’s a roadside garage. Opposite Wellingkar college at Matunga there is a hawker grilling kababs on an open flame encroaching the footpath🫡 While even the smallest legitimate restaurant pays for every permit and permission imaginable. MyBMC Fire Department And whole of erstwhile scenic RA Kidwai road near Amulakh school / SIWS college is now encroached and occupied and turned into motor repair, scrap shops and madrassas. Ironically this is also EXACTLY opposite Matunga Police Beat Chowky no 4 🫡 And what is the state of salaried middle class, law abiding, tax paying residents of Matunga Wadala? I don’t think many are left. Other than the rich and the encroaching, there is no room for them to survive. This is the Matunga Wadala we are getting for us and our kids. Earlier ruling parties were responsible for the creation of Dharavi. Current administration is impudently turning the erstwhile beautiful locales of Matunga and Wadala into Dharavi. I don’t think so. What matters is the hawkers and encroachers. On the other side, opposite Classic restaurant 3 or 4 cars are permanently parked and being worked on by a mechanic. It’s a roadside garage. Opposite Wellingkar college at Matunga there is a hawker grilling kababs on an open flame encroaching the footpath🫡 While even the smallest legitimate restaurant pays for every permit and permission imaginable. MyBMC Fire Department And whole of erstwhile scenic RA Kidwai road near Amulakh school / SIWS college is now encroached and occupied and turned into motor repair, scrap shops and madrassas. Ironically this is also EXACTLY opposite Matunga Police Beat Chowky no 4 🫡 And what is the state of salaried middle class, law abiding, tax paying residents of Matunga Wadala? I don’t think many are left. Other than the rich and the encroaching, there is no room for them to survive. This is the Matunga Wadala we are getting for us and our kids. Earlier ruling parties were responsible for the creation of Dharavi. Current administration is impudently turning the erstwhile beautiful locales of Matunga and Wadala into Dharavi.
