Those who think having 31 governors makes them unbeatable at the polls are making a very big mistake. It has happened before, and it can happen again. With Mr. Peter Obi, we have a presidential candidate who is strong, energetic and capable of travelling across Nigeria to engage directly with the people and deliver his message of a New Nigeria. In the North, many APC governors are struggling to campaign because the people are angry. Nigerians are hurting, and they know that the present government has failed to address their concerns. While Nigerians struggle, those in power continue to travel and go on holidays as they please. In 2027, the Talakawa will have an opportunity to change this government through their votes. The people have the power. — Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, NDC Vice-Presidential Candidate

Mr Peter Obi today attended the funeral service of Elder Etim Edet Umoh in Oron, Akwa Ibom State. Elder Umoh was a renowned administrator, a distinguished public servant, and a man widely respected for his uprightness, honesty and integrity. Even while serving in INEC, an institution that has often faced serious allegations of corruption, he remained committed to the values of integrity and public service. He was also blessed with remarkable children, among whom is Esther Umoh , the official photographer of Mr Peter Obi, a valued member of the POMO family who continues to honour her father’s legacy through her own dedication and service. We extend our deepest condolences to the Umoh family, friends, colleagues and the people of Oron on this painful loss. May the soul of Elder Etim Edet Umoh, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in perfect peace. Amen. Idris Zekeri Junior Spokesperson, Peter Obi Media Office (POMO)

Mr Peter Obi was at Parklane Hospital, Enugu State, this evening to empathise with people battling various levels of kidney challenges. They are being supported by a young Nigerian, Okwuluora, who uses his platform to solicit support for these vulnerable Nigerians. Mr Peter Obi has offered his continuing support to Okwuluora and his work supporting Nigerians battling various forms of kidney problems. Beyond updating on this event, we have a major crisis of kidney failures in our hands. There is no way what I saw this evening can be normal. Something is definitely wrong somewhere, and we need to start asking serious questions about what is happening to our people. I am using this medium to call on NAFDAC to step up its efforts to curb the circulation of fake, adulterated and substandard consumables. We cannot continue to watch Nigerians fall critically ill while the agencies responsible for protecting public health remain complacent. In a country with this number of citizens in critical condition with life-threatening illnesses, any politician who steals public money should be hanged by the balls. There is something fundamentally wrong with a system where politicians can steal billions meant for public services while ordinary Nigerians are left to struggle for their lives. What I saw today is heartbreaking to the extreme. These are real people, real families and real lives. We cannot continue pretending that everything is normal.

The funny guy from my local government who runs EDO APC as chairman went to Ekiti. The disgraceful INEC under Amupitan gave him “an observer jacket” after surreptitiously accrediting him as same. The unintelligent guy, in a bid to boast took pictures and uploaded same on his social media. Then came the backlash against him and the disgraced INEC under Amupitan. The “not so” intelligent gentleman has now gone on national TV to say the picture is AI. If Nigerians do not expel the APC, the APC will expel Nigerians.
