Wow. What a turnout in Sundre today. Over 500 vehicles showed up in support of Alberta patriotism, sovereignty, and independence. There were more Alberta patriots in town than residents — and even though the rodeo parade was cancelled, Albertans still showed up for our people. We were greeted, welcomed, and cheered on by many, including RCMP present at the event. This movement is real. Alberta is awake. Alberta is done waiting.

Started today by seeing Alberta Patriots gathering in southeast Calgary — around 60 vehicles covered in Alberta flags driving together across the city for nearly 2 hours in support of Alberta independence. The support from people on the roads, sidewalks, and overpasses was incredible. Honks, waves, thumbs up everywhere. Even the Calgary Police helicopter was monitoring the event from above by the end. Elections Alberta is supposed to be impartial—not picking sides in a democratic process. When the referee starts looking biased, people lose trust in the game. I agree with Keith Wilson’s call for the Chief Electoral Officer to resign. If Elections Alberta cannot remain neutral while Albertans debate their own future, then it’s failing the very purpose it was created to serve. Every Albertan deserves a fair process—whether they support independence or oppose it. Democracy only works when the rules are applied equally to everyone. You can hear him say: “less than 3% of our product,” “49,000 cars,” then making a cut-off gesture: “capped” — and then, “I thought you’d actually like that.” Presumably this is about Chinese EVs — Canada’s deal allowed up to 49,000 Chinese-made EVs into Canada, roughly 3% of the market. So let’s get this straight: Ottawa makes deals with China. Then Carney explains himself to Trump. And Alberta is supposed to pretend this is “sovereignty”? No thanks.
