Figma experts, can you tell me what causes the shape to not take the size I tell it to take? Literally had to type 24 three times for each axis.

My initial problem with Liquid Glass was that it was terrible for accessibility despite how beautiful it looks it certain places. There is literally only one way to solve this readability issue – make the glass frosted/opaque. And from the public backlash that Apple received it was pretty obvious that it was a matter of time before they made this change. The problem now is that when you make it opaque, it barely looks any different from iOS 18, yet it keeps eating up resources and draining your battery. 3 betas in, and I still feel like this design direction was a big mistake.

Kinda sad that I'll be removing these sections in the next iteration of my website. Spent a lot of time polishing them last year.

IT'S WORKING!!! 🔥 Thank you to everyone who suggested using a mask! 🙇🏻‍♂️ Turns out Framer has a very neat style option called Mask, and it saved my day. 6 blurred pngs per folder, masked by its own shape. Working like clockwork, smooth, no issues.

A physical display by Soiboi soft. It's probably the best single piece of technology I've seen made for visually impaired people. Love it!

Mac menubar apps I use all the time ⬇️ - - - - - 1) CleanShot – The best screenshot/screen recording app that exists out there 2) PixelSnap – Lets you measure anything on your screen. Helpful for quickly gathering distances between objects in pixels 3) Sip – A very powerful color picker, with history and collections of color palettes 4) Magnet – A tool for snapping your windows into organized tiles 5) PastePal – Super powerful clipboard manager that stores anything you copy/save in your clipboard including images. Also syncs to iPad and iPhone. 6) We Love Lights – An app for controlling Philips Hue lights and scenes 7) Simplify – An awesome little music player that lives in the menubar 8) iTranslate – Menubar language translator app 9) Vivid – Lets you unleash full 1000 nits of sustained brightness (Only on MacBook Pros released since October 2021) 10) Hand Mirror – Awesome little app for showing your webcam preview. Very useful for checking your looks prior to meetings 11) Bartender – Declutters your menubar by hiding the items/icons you don't want to see.

Dear Figma. Please let me change stroke thicknesses individually per stroke. I'm tired of having to use workarounds with shadows/second layers in order to add multiple borders of different thicknesses at once. Thank you. Figma
