This is one of our flood control projects in Iloilo: a life-saving infrastructure that now protects thousands of Ilonggo residents from floods like those caused by Typhoon Frank in 2008. This was built with the help of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) and constructed by Hanjin Heavy Industries of South Korea and China International Water & Electric Corporation. The project includes widened river channels, better drainage, and new bridges built to withstand typhoons. Kung hindi siya bababa, baka walang mangyari. Kapag nasa site mismo ang DPWH Secretary, pwede nyang ipatawag at harapin ang mga contractors at district engineers na responsible sa substandard projects. Sa Noveleta, Cavite, nasa 6% lang ang project noong unang inspeksyon. Ngayon, halos 50% na at 24/7 ang trabaho. At may deadline: bago mag-Undas. Utos ng Pangulo. Kaya tutukan, singilin, tapusin. No excuses.

ITO ANG REASON BAKIT COAST GUARD NA ANG BANTAY SA PUMPING STATION NA ‘TO Last night pa akong nanggigigil dito. This is in Sunog Apog Pumping Station in Tondo, Manila. Yung pumping stations na proteksyon sana laban sa baha, pinagnanakawan pa ng mga eejit ng critical cables at equipment. Tapos ngawngaw nang ngawngaw kung binabaha. Kaloka. Kaya naka deploy ngayon ang Philippine Coast Guard dun sa para bantayan ang facilities. Imagine: gumastos na ang gobyerno ng millions para solusyunan ang baha, tapos kailangan pang bantayan ang solusyon dahil sa mga salbaheng magnanakaw? Grabe, mga ungas talaga!

Jay Tolosa si Atty. Michael Poa? “Atty. Tolosa, Chair is ruling…” Then Chiz finally declared that they had “wasted enough time on these intramurals” at pinadiretso na siya sa questioning. Pero mukhang may strategy si Tolosa: establish that Poa is an experienced, competent lawyer… Then question how someone in such a senior DepEd position could supposedly know SO LITTLE about the controversial confidential-fund transactions. Di ba? Pwede ba ang halos walang alam na senior department official? Clueless ang peg?

Remember his iconic statement by Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano from the CJ Corona impeachment trial? “If your client cannot explain, I cannot abstain. If you did not disclose, we have to depose. If you are not fit, you should not sit as the CJ of our Supreme Court.” Cayetano meant that if Chief Justice Renato Corona couldn't explain or disclose these hidden financial assets, the Senate was legally and morally obligated to remove ("depose") him as he was unfit to hold office as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. Back then, Cayetano was all about absolute financial transparency. He famously pushed to scrutinize Corona's bank records. Fast forward to the impeachment trial of VP Sara Duterte. The prosecution is calling on those exact same thing: to subpoena her financial records. Interestingly, Cayetano recently admitted, “I can tell you honestly right now, I don't know what to vote for...". Ah, really? Why don’t you watch this clip? Let’s see how he will vote in regards to the issuance of a subpoena for these financial records. Will he stick to his old battle cry, or nag-iba ang ihip ng hangin? Is it a yea or a nay?

Pinalaki from 0.5 meter to 1.5 meters ang drainage inlets — triple the capacity — kaya mas mabilis nang humuhupa ang baha. Ito ang klase ng infrastructure rehabilitation na kailangan natin: hindi puro patchwork, kundi inaayos pati drainage capacity. Tama ang direktiba ni PBBM — kung ire-rehabilitate ang EDSA, ayusin nang maayos at pangmatagalan. Progress should be practical, visible, and measurable.

Sara Duterte’s counsel, Atty. Sison, actively tries to fool the viewers by treating a constitutional trial like a reality TV popularity contest. She kept mentioning the 32 million votes the useless VP got in 2022 and even compared it to PBBM’s. This is a classic, desperate “argumentum ad populum” fallacy. Sison deeply insults the public's intelligence by gaslighting us into believing the impeachment process will negate the election. Sison wants the people to believe 32 million votes means absolute immunity for the useless VP. Girl, ang baba naman ng tingin mo sa mga Pilipino. With your logic, you're making Filipinos look dumb and you’re giving the DDS arguments that make them stupid beyond repair. Kay ang tatanga ng reasoning ng mga DDS, it’s because of people like you!

The math is literally mathing here! 😂 Palawan Rep. Pepito Alvarez just exposed Mike Defensor’s cheap retaliation tactics. Cong. Pepito revealed he received a text message from Defensor’s camp aggressively recruiting him to endorse an impeachment complaint against President Bongbong Marcos. But when he flat out rejected it with a simple “No, sorry,” guess what happened next? BOOM! He suddenly found himself named in that shady "maleta of cash" list by the 18 ex-Marines. It’s so obvious! Under Rule 114, Section 2 of the Rules of Criminal Procedure, bail must include recent passport-size photographs showing the accused’s face, left and right profiles. The Supreme Court’s minimum documentary requirements go further: four sets of front, left and right-profile photos, plus the accused’s left and right handprints. So hindi ito simpleng padala-lawyer lang at bayad ng bail. These are requirements for the accused herself. Vice President or ordinary citizen, pareho ang proseso. May warrant? Face the process. So, it turns out, my theory was right: the Senate drama was all to protect Sara Duterte! The receipts in this interview with Senator Bato dela Rosa completely expose the real plot behind the entire Senate circus. 1. Did you hear him? He literally admitted on camera that one of his main reasons for "resurfacing" from his six-month hiding streak was because he knew an impeachment trial was coming. 2. He explicitly stated that they needed him to be the crucial "13th vote" to pull off a change of Senate leadership (the coup orchestrated by Senator Alan Peter Cayetano). Why? Because the Senate leadership controls the rules, the timing, and the schedule of when the chamber convenes. 3. This entire staged drama and leadership shakeup wasn't about saving Bato from the ICC. It was a highly coordinated, desperate stunt to install a cooperative Senate leadership that can stall, delay, and completely disrupt convening as an impeachment court for VP Sara Duterte! While the public was distracted by the chaos and the shootout inside the chamber, the real game was always about protecting the Vice President from her accountability era. They used Bato as a pawn to secure the 13th vote, changed the leadership, and are now using the drama to buy Sara time. They are NOT lawmakers anymore; they’re a full-blown defense team disguised as a Senate majority! 🙄

During a press briefing earlier today, a reporter tried to corner Rep. Sandro Marcos with unverified rumors about General Santos City supposedly getting a "zero budget" and "zero MOOE" allocation. Sandro wasn't having any of it and immediately shut it down as impossible hearsay, calling it mere *kwento-kwento*. Instead of just letting the question slide, Sandro turned the tables and pressed the reporter on whether she had actually done her homework and verified the claim before bringing it up. When she tried to deflect by saying she was just repeating what others said, he firmly cut through the noise and demanded a straight answer: “Did you verify it? Yes or no?" Once she admitted she hadn't, Sandro gave a quick masterclass in media ethics and reminded her that, as a journalist, it's her responsibility to fact-check information before throwing it into an interview. He wrapped it up by reiterating that a zero-budget scenario for the city was completely baseless, and asked rhetorically who would even be foolish enough to try something like that. See, that’s how you supalpal a maritess with class. 😂
