How does Sky let people like Gary Cotterill harass coaches every week? He's been told 5 times Amorim is doing the press conference in Portuguese—it's one of his last interviews for Sporting—why is he instigating so much? "It's like a cold shoulder to all your English fans" ???

what makes Trent the best offensive fullback ever by a wide margin is how he allows you the build the rest of your team because he can do so much on his own. everyone talks about the crossing, and yes, he's a 20+ BCC guy, on par with world class attackers blah blah but it is Trent's progressive game that makes him a true anomaly. you can build a midfield of cavemen that do nothing but run and duel because he is the entire buildup of a team on his own. his long passing allows attackers to get in behind and attack in 2v1s, 3v2s within needing to compromise your rest defense. because he plays so deep on the pitch and has such a massive passing range, you can't press him. midfielders can be pressed. a guy launching a rocket launcher from 50 yards back can't at Trent's best he was one of the greatest progressors and chance creators football had ever seen. his attacking value is not comparable to "Dani Alves" "Cancelo" "Reece James". it's comparable to Pirlo.

PSG are incredible, but I don’t know how you can listen to every medical expert in football saying the players’ bodies can’t handle the high amount of games they play each season, and not consider PSG’s ability to rest and rotate their stars as a significant positive factor

Vini didn't lose the Ballon d'Or because he's a "bad person". Don't be gaslit by this racist narrative.

threepeat Ronaldo and current Raphinha are extremely similar players man watch the tapes - generational off ball runs and box movement - great heading of the ball - both mid back to goal and under contact - Raphinha better finishing %, Ronaldo better dribbling/link up this is insane nostalgia
