what makes Trent the best offensive fullback ever by a wide margin is how he allows you the build the rest of your team because he can do so much on his own. everyone talks about the crossing, and yes, he's a 20+ BCC guy, on par with world class attackers blah blah but it is Trent's progressive game that makes him a true anomaly. you can build a midfield of cavemen that do nothing but run and duel because he is the entire buildup of a team on his own. his long passing allows attackers to get in behind and attack in 2v1s, 3v2s within needing to compromise your rest defense. because he plays so deep on the pitch and has such a massive passing range, you can't press him. midfielders can be pressed. a guy launching a rocket launcher from 50 yards back can't at Trent's best he was one of the greatest progressors and chance creators football had ever seen. his attacking value is not comparable to "Dani Alves" "Cancelo" "Reece James". it's comparable to Pirlo.
