Full news conference of Chief Tanya Terry IMPD Chief Tanya Terry announced a 14-year-old has been arrested for the downtown murder of Brett Scrogham and noted that four teenagers have been arrested for murder in the last month alone. Terry said parents need to know where their kids are, who they're with, and what they're doing. She also challenged every adult in Indianapolis to step up and help guide at-risk youth. Translation: because too many parents aren't handling the parenting, everyone else is being asked to help raise the kids. Shoutout to FOX59 News for posting the entire news conference

Just a little bit ago, Lt. Governor Micah Beckwith was on WOWO with Kayla Blakeslee. Beckwith Islam is “not a religion” but “a political and military movement” and “a cult.” He claimed Muslims are using a strategy to “immigrate, populate, and dominate." Beckwith referenced Dearborn, Michigan and Minnesota, and warned that Muslims are “not here to assimilate into the American way of life” but are “here to take over.” He also said he supports legislation banning Sharia law in Indiana, claimed mosques are rapidly growing across the state, and said he would continue publicly opposing Islam because he believes it is incompatible with constitutional law and American society. This is what made me laugh and I hope there are pics if it happens. At the end of the interview, Beckwith said he may wear a Crusader outfit if he visits a mosque again.

ok. Big one. I'm sure by now you've heard about the "incident" at Avon Middle School North track meet last night. Kiwi News Network posted some videos "UPDATE: We’ve now obtained permission to share video from last night’s incident at the Avon Middle School North track meet. As previously reported, the meet was canceled after a physical altercation involving students escalated and required a police response. School officials said a parent who arrived at the event further escalated the situation, leading to additional officers responding to assist. School administrators previously stated disciplinary action is expected for those involved." "A newly submitted viewer video provides additional footage from the incident at Avon Middle School North, showing the altercation extending into the parking lot after the track meet. The viewer also reported that the driver of the vehicle was the same woman seen in the previous footage." RIP Avon.

What’s most interesting is the “why” behind the Noblesville referendum. The superintendent points to three main factors: -Enrollment is declining . It's down 200 students this year, with school choice playing a role. -Birthrates are falling because people are simply having fewer kids -Housing costs in Hamilton County are pricing out young families. Funny how decades of “we need less people in the world" and runaway housing costs eventually show up in the real world. Now, school systems are the ones dealing with the consequences.

Starke County Clerk Bernadette Manuel gets pulled over earlier this month for running a stop sign. No big deal, right? Well… according to footage we received, she asks the officer, “You know who I am, right?” And it gets better. The very next day, she sends an email asking when it became standard practice to ticket elected officials in their own county. Apparently, traffic laws are optional when you hold office? The ego on some of these elected officials is unreal.

She is currently in stable condition. The full context is not known, however it appears the stabbing stemmed from a fight. Disclaimer: I did not put the text on screen and do not condone it. Oh and, i’m not taking down the video. This is what is happening at Castleton Square Mall with unsupervised juveniles." Stay away from Castleton Mall. Am I hearing what I think I'm hearing? Indianapolis City-County Council Democrat City Councilman Jared Evans says one of the reasons why people are moving to the donut counties is because of the lack of trails and aquatic centers? He also says trails are "quality of life" and what citizens expect. This is from last week's Park and Rec committee meeting.

We JUST received this video. (sound is off) Semi-truck driver on I-70 is doing WELL over 80mph I checked the DOT number, and it matches up to the name on the truck. INBIZ shows the Incorporators name is G. SINGH To no one's surprise, the address goes to the same area in Greenwood that SuperTrucker 🚛💨→💻 maybe danielle 💻🚛🇺🇸 have talked about many times. BTW, this small capture has 89 trucking companies listed.
