My team Izzy Weiss 🎗️ and I are in touch with several individuals on the ground in Boro Park where antisemitic, anti-American, terror-loving, Hamas-supporting lunatics are violently attacking Orthodox Jews under the guise of “protesting a land sale.” Never since the pogroms of the past have we seen such blatant and open hatred towards Jews. These terrorists came to Boro Park for one reason only: to incite violence and fear in one of the largest Jewish communities in the United States. ❄️🚮 Update This weekend I walked some of the streets in my district to take a look at the snow and trash issues for myself and it was concerning. This morning I spoke to an Assistant Chief at the DSNY to relay my concerns of delayed trash pick up and still unplowed snow, and requested the plan for clean up and pick up. According to NYC Sanitation , currently they are working on removing snow piles from commercial strips. They will continue this till completion, then will move into the residential areas, Bedford Ave in particular as I saw significant pile ups there. By Monday 6am, all areas of the city will have received 1 refuse pickup. Recycle was not touched but will be picked up this week. Regular collection schedule will resume tomorrow.

TODAY IS END JEW HATRED DAY in New York City — and I’m so proud of the activism that we have pursued in the last two years since April 29th was OFFICIALLY declared as End Jew Hatred Day. But may we not FORGET that there were members of the City Council who voted NO on this purely SYMBOLIC Resolution calling for an end to Antisemitism. And even now, two years later, my remarks when proposing this resolution unfortunately still ring true. Ending Jew Hatred will require continued vigilance and BOLD ACTION — especially with open antisemites in our government encouraging Hamasniks to run rampant on our streets. #EndJewHatred
