The Taliban regime must understand that Nangarhar, Khost, and Paktika were not the last strikes. 🔹Debunking Propaganda - Since the preceding day, individuals associated with a political party have been disseminating disinformation and propagating their narrative concerning the APS Incident. They have employed a propaganda clip featuring the fugitive soldier Mudassir Iqbal. - Mudassir Iqbal, a former soldier who absconded to Afghanistan after committing a homicide, sought refuge with the Khawarij of the TTP. - In 2017, hostile intelligence agencies decided to exploit Mudassir Iqbal's military identity for their nefarious purposes and propaganda efforts. - On August 23, 2017, a video was disseminated through media outlets affiliated with their terrorist groups, including the TTP and BLA, with the aim of disseminating disinformation and propaganda against the Pakistan Army. -- Background on the APS Attack: In June 2014, the Pakistan Armed Forces initiated a joint military operation against various militant groups in North Waziristan, which had become a hotbed of violence. This military offensive, known as Operation Zarb-e-Azb, was launched in response to the terrorist attack on Jinnah International Airport in Karachi on June 8, 2014, for which the TTP claimed responsibility. On December 16, 2014, six gunmen affiliated with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) conducted a terrorist assault on the Army Public School in Peshawar. These terrorists, all of whom were foreign nationals, included one Chechen, three Arabs, and two Afghans. They infiltrated the school premises and opened fire on both school staff and children, resulting in the tragic loss of 149 lives, including 132 schoolchildren aged between eight and eighteen years old. This incident stands as the world's fifth deadliest school massacre. In response, Pakistan launched a rescue operation conducted by the Pakistan Army's Special Services Group (SSG) special forces, which successfully eliminated all six terrorists and saved 960 individuals. -- Masterminds And Attackers: The Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack, citing it as retaliation for Operation Zarb-e-Azb, the Pakistani military's campaign in North Waziristan that commenced in the summer of 2014. The real reason of these media reporters who were jumping in DIG Operations Lahore press conference today and asking illogical, loud and totally irrational statements is now in open. All of them run multiple small mostly illegal businesses like sheesha shops, massage parlours, gambling dens, illegal guest houses etc in addition to their usual blackmail through reporting and fabricated news. Lahore police especially DIG Operations has since long been curtailing their illegal spectrum and therefore they deliberately targeted him in live press conference. However hats off to his cool responses.
