106 years ago today, Hollywood’s ultimate power couple, “America’s Sweetheart” and “Everybody’s Hero,” Mary Pickford & Douglas Fairbanks, arrived in the Soviet Union. Drawn by their admiration for Soviet cinema, they visited Moscow. At Mezhrapom Studios, Pickford planted a kiss on actor Igor Ilyinski.
