I remember this match very well; it was in Colombo against Australia, where Inzamam-ul-Haq and Mohammad Yousuf were unavailable. Imran Nazir, Taufiq Umar, Misbah-ul-Haq, and Faisal Iqbal were tested in this series. Faisal saved the team from follow-on in the first innings, scoring 83 runs at a strike rate of 98 and good counter attack against Shane Warne. In the second innings, Imran Nazir and Taufiq put together a partnership of 91 runs for the first wicket. Faisal Iqbal also batted well in the second innings, scoring 39 runs. According to the rules, if the non-striker attempts to block the bowler's path, he should not be given out for a run-out but could be declared out for obstructing the field. Salman Ali Agha could have let the ball go from the front, but it appears he is trying to block the fielder with his back. Obstructing the field (Law 37) in cricket is a method of dismissal where a batter is out if they willfully attempt to obstruct or distract the fielding side by word or action while the ball is in play. It covers intentional interference with a catch, purposely blocking a run-out, or handling the ball without consent.
