Water levels in Belfast’s River Lagan have been allowed to fall, revealing mud banks and an unwelcome stench for those living and working close by. Friday saw water recede dramatically on the banks of the north’s longest river in the south of the city, where it winds before emerging into Belfast Lough. The fall was forced in order to allow an inspection of the Lagan Weir to take place. 📽 Mal McCann
