In just 3 years, my account has gone from $10,000 to more than $520,000. Since I started this portfolio back in January 2021, I’ve added ~$97,500 in outside funds to it. Performance has come purely from buying & holding shares in just a few names - no fancy trading strategies.

Wall Street is still sleeping on $KOPN. Their new Neural I/O platform announced last month is a breakthrough in chip-to-chip and rack-to-rack interconnect technology that can meaningfully change the way information is moved from place to place in data centers. Unlike traditional copper (which loses energy as heat over distance) or laser-based optics (which require significant power to drive), Kopin’s platform repurposes MicroLED pixels as bi-directional transceivers. They claim this uses considerably less power per bit than existing solutions. By using photons instead of electrons for chip-to-chip and rack-to-rack communication, they can achieve ultra-high bandwidth without the signal degradation seen in copper at high speeds. Oh, and the TAM here is MASSIVE. Estimates for the broader interconnect and optical networking market range from $70B to more than $130B. 🤯 For now, the $15M development order Kopin received will be used to build a prototype that will be ready by mid 2026 (just a few months). After that, they expect to begin production of this new MicroLED interconnect product by late 2026/early 2027. CEO, Michael Murray, has also confirmed that Kopin is already in talks with two of the “Big Five” (Google, Apple, Meta, Amazon, Microsoft) who are supposedly very interested in this technology. Kopin has signed NDAs with these companies, so they can’t disclose any more than that at this time. Note that Kopin does all their manufacturing in the U.S., making their products more appealing to companies seeking domestic producers over foreign ones. Right now, their market cap is just $765M. If they successfully disrupt the market for interconnect devices used in data centers (which I believe they can), the stock will experience a serious re-rating. Exciting times ahead for Kopin. Please don’t consider this financial advice!
