This is horrifying. If the jury finds Lindsay Clancy not guilty by reason of insanity she will be released from the mental institution and be free amongst the general public in less than 5 years. I do not have hope that a jury made up of majority women will do the right thing.

The more I watch of the Lindsay Clancy trial the more I become convinced that the strangulation of her 3 children was premeditated murder. Forensic psychologist Kirk Heilbrun, who is testifying on behalf of the prosecution, testified today that there were a series of conscious decisions that had to be made in order to strangle the children, ruling out the possibility of psychosis. He opined that the evidence supports she committed the act of altruistic suicide, a serious suicide attempt accompanied by killing the children out of “love.”

Patrick agrees. • 5:10 P.M: Lindsay orders takeout from ThreeV and Patrick leaves the house • 5:32 P.M: Patrick calls Lindsay, no answer • 5:33 P.M: Lindsay calls Patrick back (14 sec.) • 6:09 P.M: Patrick returns home and finds the children strangled in the basement Even more sadistically, she sent her husband to the store to pick up medicine for a child she knew he would NEVER see alive again. She spoke to him on the phone like nothing was wrong while she was in the middle of brutally strangling their 3 children to death. How could Lindsay have been having command hallucinations from an external voice telling her to kill the children and herself from the moment Patrick left until she finished strangling Callan when she had planned everything in advance? Think about how insane and cold blooded this sequence of events truly is.
