This is what he said. I say, "You guys are freaking crazy." They are. They speak, "We will kill. We will kill everyone. Everyone. We will kill everyone." And I hear, like, 20 guys behind him. He's talking, "We will kill everyone." This is-- They don't talk that way anymore, by the way. "We will kill everyone," and behind, like, uh, 20 guys, "Praise be to Allah. Praise be to Allah. Praise be to Allah." And I say, I do, I say, "Man, you guys, you're really, you're crazy." 🚨What's your response, Professor Marandi? That's ... That, those are the words of a lunatic. First of all, who has he spoken to? What is he talking about? Who said this? Who spoke like this? After all, negotiations began almost immediately and were successful. Ukrainian negotiator Oleksandr Chalyi stated: 'We found a very real compromise.' So, what happened? The US and the UK blocked the process and made it clear to Zelensky that they would not support him if he concluded a peace agreement with Russia. They believed they could inflict a crushing defeat on Russia on the battlefield. This came at the cost of many Ukrainian lives and, quite possibly, the long-term future of Ukraine itself. I do not know what terms Russia would agree to now. I think it may well be too late for negotiations."
