I stated it clearly in one of my previous posts here that Senator Ibikunle Amosun Sen. Ibikunle Amosun and Senator Gbenga Daniel Gbenga Daniel are two of the most dangerous political actors to underestimate in Ogun State that while Amosun is not known for hiding his intentions, as seen in this video endorsing the Official PDP Nigeria governorship candidate, Gbenga Daniel is a master of political calculation, appearing to move with the APC while he will be silently working relentlessly to strengthen the Official PDP Nigeria and make sure they wins.. Several times, I used this platform to call the attention of those who matter within our great party to the looming danger. Unfortunately, what we are witnessing today is exactly what many of us warned against. I say this without fear or hesitation: Governor Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun, CON must take responsibility for the crisis, division, and growing discontent currently threatening the APC in Ogun State. It is no longer news that powerful interests in Egbaland have openly aligned with the agenda of supporting Hon. Ladi Adebutu. Reports that the Alake of Egbaland and the Egba Council of Obas have endorsed the PDP governorship candidate, coupled with what is coming from this video by Amosun, should serve as a wake-up call to anyone who still believes all is well within the APC. The painful truth is that the strength, visibility and grassroots momentum the APC currently enjoys across Ogun State have been largely sustained by the political influence, acceptability, and relentless efforts of Senator Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi) Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola YAYI. CON, FCA. Remove Yayi's factor from the equation today and I can boldly beat my chest and say that the APC is nowhere near as formidable on the ground as many would like to believe. History will record that if the APC suffers defeat in the forthcoming governorship election, it will not be because the opposition was too strong. It will be because those entrusted with the leadership of the party failed to unite stakeholders, ignored genuine warnings, alienated loyal party members and allowed personal interests to take precedence over the collective interest of the APC. As someone who understands the political history of Ogun State and the modus operandi of its past governors, I can only say that the signs were visible long ago. Those who chose to ignore them must also be prepared to accept responsibility for the consequences. If Egba has backed Ladi Adebutu, and Ijebu/Remo remains the strongest stronghold of Adebutu and Gbenga Daniel, despite Governor Abiodun being from the district, then what is left for the APC is Yewa, where Yayi comes from, which is even the minority to these two constituencies.. If, as a sitting governor seeking re-election, Governor Abiodun lost almost all the local governments in his senatorial district except one, resulting in the PDP securing eight seats in the State House of Assembly, what can he do differently to help Senator Adeola, who is not even from the constituency wins against these powerful forces that have now become both internal and external forces against the party in Ogun?

It still baffles me that someone who openly remained seated while the National Anthem was being sung can turn around and seek to become a lawmaker of the same country. I think Isaac Fayose, one of the most vocal critics of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu among the Obidients, has realized that the President has done far more than what his critics choose to acknowledge. He has openly expressed what many Obidients cannot say because of their deep-seated dislike for Tinubu. This is just one of the many outcomes of President Tinubu's reforms, and there is still much more to come. The violent attack on popular TikToker DJ Chicken in Sagamu, following a minor accident involving him and a commercial motorcycle rider popularly known as an Okada rider, is deeply disturbing and totally unacceptable. No misunderstanding or road incident especially one so minor should ever escalate into mob violence or jungle justice. No individual deserves to be beaten, humiliated, or subjected to degrading treatment under any circumstance. Violence does not settle disputes, it only erodes peace, fuels fear, and undermines the rule of law in our society. I call on our highly respected and visionary monarch, a symbol of peace, progress, and fairness across Remo land; HRM Oba Babatunde Ajayi, Paramount Ruler of Remo Kingdom, as well as the Police Area Commander, Sagamu, and the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of #Sagamu, to ensure a thorough investigation into this incident. The culprits must be identified, brought to book, and made to face the full weight of the law. Such decisive action will send a strong message that mob violence and jungle justice have no place in Sagamu, Ogun State, or Nigeria at large. Sagamu and indeed our dear nation must continue to uphold a culture of law, order, dignity, and peaceful conflict resolution. We stand firmly against mob action in all forms. Dear Yvonne Jegede, From the outset, it was obvious that some failed actresses were merely exploiting a tragic situation in a desperate bid to attract the attention and patronage of politicians to revive declining careers. When the Oyo schoolchildren were abducted, your voice was loud and relentless. You were quick to blame the government and APC supporters, pushing narratives that aligned perfectly with your political preferences. Now that the students and their teachers have been rescued and safely reunited with their families, you have suddenly gone silent. Your DMs are restricted, your comment section is limited, and the same energy you displayed during the crisis has completely vanished. If your concern was truly for the victims, this should have been the moment to celebrate their safe return, commend the security agencies and encourage the affected families. Instead, silence has taken center stage. This is why many Nigerians believe that some public figures are more interested in clout chasing, political grandstanding and personal relevance than in the welfare of the people they claim to care about. Posterity will judge those who weaponize human suffering for financial and political gain and disappear the moment the story no longer serves their agenda.

This morning, I was returning from a condolence visit here in Lagos. A townsman had sadly lost his wife to the cold hands of death. After spending a good part of the day there, I decided to drive straight to my office instead of going back home first as I had originally planned. Lagos life no dey wait for anybody—if you blink twice, hold-up will use your destiny to do rehearsal. Barely ten minutes into the journey, I was flagged down by the Nigerian police. In true Naija fashion, they used the vehicle in front of mine as human shield to stop me—as if we were filming an action movie. I was about to properly park, but the officer immediately started demanding my driver’s license right there in the middle of the expressway. I politely asked him to allow me park first so I wouldn’t cause obstruction, but oga said no. Before I could say “Officer, calm down,” traffic had already started building up like JAMB website during registration season. After plenty back and forth, he finally allowed me to park halfway along the Isheri-Idimu Expressway. I handed him my driver’s license. He checked it and returned it. Next, he asked for my vehicle license. I gave it to him. Then he requested for roadworthiness. I handed that over too. Suddenly, his mood changed like NEPA light during rainy season. He flared up and started shouting that I did not give him all the documents at once. I was confused. I simply gave him exactly what he asked for, one after the other. But apparently, in his own constitution, I was supposed to have read his mind and submitted my entire family tree. He began yelling that I was wasting his time. I asked him calmly, “Officer, how exactly am I wasting your time?” The next statement shocked me: “I will change it for you o! In fact, come and open your boot!” At that point, tempers were rising on both sides. I told him, perhaps with more confidence than wisdom, to go and open it himself. But quickly remembering that what Nigerian Police officers cannot do does not exist, I decided to come down and open it myself before my village people would be accused. He searched my boot like he was looking for the missing budget of the federation. He scattered everything. Then he entered the car, opened compartments, checked under seats—searching for what was not lost. Meanwhile, while he was performing his ministry, I was quietly recording him with my phone. When he finally realized I was videoing him, ah! Ladies and gentlemen, the atmosphere changed immediately. Heaven did not fall, but hell applied for overtime. He insulted me.He called me names.He raised his voice. But trust me, it was aura for aura, egusi for egusi, pepper for pepper, back to sender with express delivery. At the end of the day, the devil searched but found nothing on the son of man. No hidden “something for the boys.” Just an innocent man trying to survive Lagos and reach his office in peace. Eventually, I entered my car and drove off, leaving behind the drama, the dust, and one very disappointed officer whose fishing expedition returned no catch. Moral lessons: First, integrity is expensive, but it saves you from unnecessary fear. When your hands are clean, your confidence becomes your defense. Second, power without courtesy becomes oppression. Uniform should command respect, not fear. Third, wisdom matters. In Nigeria, sometimes you need the patience of Job, the boldness of David, and the prayer life of Elijah just to survive one police checkpoint. And finally, life itself is unpredictable. From attending a condolence visit in the morning to almost acting Season 2 of “Police Wahala” by afternoon, one thing is clear: every day in Lagos deserves its own Nollywood documentary. High Chief predicted it rightly but how do we expect Serah not to be upset with a lady who suddenly appeared from nowhere, took over her position, and even gained Peter Obi’s favor ahead of her? Naturally, feelings of resentment and frustration are bound to arise when someone unexpectedly loses influence and relevance to a newcomer. Serah should understand that nobody with wisdom tries to outshine or undermine the person who elevated them just like her with an excessive attitude, I know it all attitude and constant attempts to overshadow their benefactor often damage relationships and eventually make such a person politically irrelevant just like her own ways. The truth is simple: elections are not won on social media. They are won at polling units. Many people confidently declare online that Tinubu cannot win another term. Yet when it comes to making serious political predictions, staking resources, or placing bets, they often act as if his victory is the most likely outcome. That says a lot. The noise is for social media. The real confidence is revealed by where people put their money. Those who keep insisting that Tinubu cannot win should be careful not to become victims of their own propaganda. I honestly do not understand how anyone expects to win the Presidency while treating politics like a content-creation project. You cannot be embarking on critical political assignments with content creators and individuals who have never built, won, led, or achieved anything of significance politically, and expect Nigerians to take such a movement seriously. It is why I keep asking: what exactly is the objective of the man leading this expedition? From the outside, it looks less like a strategic political campaign and more like a holiday cruise populated by social media entertainers masquerading as political stakeholders.
