balance is an artwork with liquid provenance. credits are individual works made from cyan, magenta, yellow and black. each has a rating. 80 credits are burned to compose a statement. the collector chooses the arrangement. the ratings are added together. a statement can be permanently locked to release its rating as transferable balance. each wallet has an artwork displaying its balance and inherited colors. as tokens move, color moves with them. as balances meet, colors mix. empty the wallet and the artwork remains. this video follows 10,000 balance through six wallets. the total stays the same. its distribution and appearance change. chance. choice. consequence. an expanding surface. a finite supply.
