Today, Sen. Thom Tillis wanted to pass a hurricane aid bill through unanimous consent. Rand Paul pushed for an amendment that would use pre-existing green energy spending to fund the aid, and also wanted accountability on where that spending was actually going. Paul noted that some small business loans were going to "purse and dress stores" in Ukraine. Obviously that's completely irresponsible and needs fixing. It got heated. Quickly.
