Texas Governor Greg Abbott says the proposed Islamic foot washing station at DFW - and the existing one at IAH - are unconstitutional and illegal, based on special treatment for a single religious group. He indicated he will push for the one at IAH to be ripped out on that basis, having stopped down the plans at DFW. He also says it is "apples and oranges" to compare the principle that government should not favor one religion to the Texas law requiring the Ten Commandments be displayed in public classrooms.
