हमारे साथ आज शत्रुओं जैसा व्यवहार किया जा रहा है ज्ञानवापी के संदर्भ में मुस्लिम लीडरशिप की भीड़ भरी प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस से जमीअत उलमा-ए-हिंद के अध्यक्ष मौलाना महमूद असद मदनी का संबोधन जमीअत उलमा-ए-हिंद के केंद्रीय कार्यालय में मुस्लिम पर्सनल लॉ बोर्ड के तत्वाधान में आयोजित भीड़ भरी एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस को संबोधित करते हुए जमीअत उलमा-ए-हिंद के अध्यक्ष मौलाना महमूद असद मदनी ने कहा कि न्यायपालिका की स्वतंत्रता एक लोकतांत्रिक देश की सबसे बड़ी ताकत है। अगर हम इस स्वतंत्रता को बाकी नहीं रख पाएंगे तो देश की हर व्यवस्था में खटास उत्पन्न हो जाएगी। मौलाना मदनी ने वाराणसी के जिला जज द्वारा ज्ञानवापी मस्जिद के तहखाने में पूजा की अनुमति दिए जाने के संदर्भ में कहा उन्होंने अपने सेवानिवृत्त होने से पूर्व इस तरह का निराशाजनक निर्णय सुनाया और फिर ऊपरी अदालतें उस पर विचार करने को तैयार नहीं हैं, तो इस तरह एक वर्ग का पूरा अधिकार मार लिया गया। इन परिस्थितियों में आप बताएं कि अब देश का अल्पसंख्यक क्या करे? उन्होंने मीडिया की आजादी पर सवाल उठाते हुए कहा कि हमें दुख है कि प्रेस क्लब में हमने प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस करने की कोशिश की, तो वहां से जवाब मिला कि इस विषय पर अनुमति नहीं है, तो बताएं कि किस विषय पर बात करें और किस पर न करें। मौलाना मदनी ने कहा कि आज हम ऐसी स्थिति में खड़े हैं कि हमें नहीं पता कि क्या करना है। मैं यह कहना चाहता हूं कि बात इस हद तक नहीं बढ़नी चाहिए। हमने देश को बड़े कष्ट, बलिदान और संघर्षों से आजाद कराया है और इस देश को बनाना, बसाना और आगे चलना हम सभी की संयुक्त जिम्मेदारी है। आज के दौर में हमारे साथ शत्रुओं जैसा व्यवहार किया जा रहा है और हमें अपमानित करने की कोशिश की जा रही है। हालांकि, न्याय और न्याय की मांग को बनाए रखना हम सभी की ज़िम्मेदारी है। जिसकी लाठी, उसकी भैंस, जंगल राज का प्रतीक है और याद रखिए कि लाठी और भैंस का कानून अगर चलेगा तो लाठी हाथ बदलती रहती है। इसलिए हमें मिलकर अच्छा करने का प्रयास करना है।

Statement by Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani, President of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, on the #WaqfAmendmentBill The government's approach is majoritarian, undemocratic, and unconstitutional New Delhi, April 2, 2025: Reacting to the introduction of the Waqf Amendment Bill in Parliament, Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani, President of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind, strongly condemned the move, stating that the proposed bill is unconstitutional and a blatant violation of fundamental rights. The government is attempting to push it through solely on the basis of its numerical majority, disregarding democratic principles and due process. This approach reflects a majoritarian mindset that undermines the rights of minorities and threatens the foundational values of justice and equality. The bill has been introduced in a forceful and arbitrary manner, with the clear intention of curtailing minority rights. Its framing and the intent behind it expose a deeply prejudiced attitude toward the Muslim community. While we have consistently advocated for constructive improvements in the existing law, the proposed amendments, rather than addressing genuine concerns, will only exacerbate existing challenges and create further complications. As a representative of the minority community, I categorically reject this bill in its entirety. It is unacceptable in any form, and we will oppose it at every level. Our struggle against this injustice will continue through all legal and peaceful means, and we will not remain silent in the face of such an attack on our rights.

Bulldozer Action on Muslim Minority Homes in Assam* JUH Delegation Visits Affected Areas in Goalpara District, Submits Memorandum to Assam Government Demanding Immediate Rehabilitation and Compensation* New Delhi/Goalpara, 15 July 2025:Acting on the direction of Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind President Maulana Mahmood Asad Madani, a high-level delegation of the organization today visited the Goalpara district of Assam, where a recent demolition drive by the state government resulted in the destruction of 3,973 houses in the Ashudubi and Hasilabil areas. Most of the displaced families belong to the Bengali-origin Muslim minority. It is worth noting that Jamiat Ulama Assam has stepped in to provide immediate relief, setting up temporary shelters (tents) for the displaced families and initiating efforts to support the affected population. The delegation met with affected families, visited the demolition sites, and assessed the on-ground humanitarian situation. Deeply moved by the scale of displacement and suffering, the delegation extended assurance of all possible support from the organization. A memorandum was submitted to the Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma, through the District Magistrate, calling the demolition drive inhuman, unconstitutional, and driven by religious discrimination. The memorandum highlighted that demolition was selectively carried out in Muslim-majority areas, particularly targeting Bengali-origin Muslim residents, while similar settlements of other communities remained untouched—an alarming case of state bias and discrimination. The memorandum also noted that many of the affected families have been residing in these areas for over 70 to 80 years, and are legitimate Indian citizens, many of whom were earlier displaced by erosion caused by the Brahmaputra River. Evicting them without due process violates legal rights, constitutional protections, and Supreme Court directives. In several cases, the demolitions were allegedly executed to serve private or industrial interests, with no prior notice given to the occupants. The memorandum strongly demanded immediate rehabilitation and compensation for all affected families, utilization of government khas land available in Assam for relocation, provision of interim relief, including food and shelter, until permanent arrangements are made Preliminary Fact-Finding Report: Jamiat Ulama Assam According to a preliminary report submitted by Maulana Badruddin Ajmal (President, Jamiat Ulama Assam) and Hafiz Bashir Ahmad Qasmi (General Secretary), the demolition drives from November 2023 to July 2025 have affected a total of 8,115 families across Goalpara, Dhubri, and Nalbari districts, displacing more than 32,530 individuals, including women, children, and the elderly. The report further documents the demolition of 21 mosques, 44 maktabs/madrasas, and 9 Eidgahs, reflecting the disproportionate targeting of religious and community institutions. While Jamiat Ulama-i-Hind has initiated relief efforts by providing food, shelter, and medical aid, the current resources are inadequate to meet the scale of the crisis. Urgent and expanded government intervention is essential to address the humanitarian emergency and restore justice to the displaced.

#दिल्लीदंगों में 6 बेगुनाह मुस्लिम बाइज़्ज़त बरी* *जमीयत को एक और सफलता, प्रभावित परिवारों ने जमीयत उलमा-ए-हिंद के अध्यक्ष मौलाना महमूद मदनी का आभार व्यक्त किया*** नई दिल्ली, 26 नवंबर: दिल्ली की कड़कड़डूमा अदालत ने आज दिल्ली दंगों में फँसाए गए छह बेगुनाह मुस्लिम युवकों को बाइज़्ज़त बरी कर दिया। बरी किए गए लोगों में गुलज़ार, शहज़ाद, वाजिद, साजिद, शहबाज़ और सलीम शामिल हैं। इन मुकदमों की पैरवी जमीयत उलमा-ए-हिंद के अध्यक्ष मौलाना महमूद असअद मदनी की हिदायत पर एडवोकेट सलीम मलिक ने की। अदालत ने अपने फैसले में स्पष्ट कहा कि अभियोजन पक्ष आरोप साबित करने में पूरी तरह नाकाम रहा और पेश किए गए सबूत किसी भी प्रकार से आरोपियों के खिलाफ नहीं ठहरते। अभियोजन पक्ष ने आरोप लगाया था कि आरोपियों ने दंगे के दौरान लूटपाट और आगज़नी की, लेकिन सुनवाई के दौरान यह आरोप अदालत में सिद्ध नहीं हो सके। इसलिए अदालत ने सभी आरोपियों को बिना किसी शर्त के बाइज़्ज़त बरी कर दिया। अदालती फैसले के बाद प्रभावित परिवारों में खुशी का माहौल है। परिवारों ने जमीयत उलमा-ए-हिंद के अध्यक्ष मौलाना महमूद असअद मदनी का शुक्रिया अदा करते हुए कहा कि पिछले पाँच वर्षों से उनकी टीम का निरंतर सहयोग मिला, अन्यथा हम और अधिक मायूसी का शिकार हो जाते। परिवारों ने अदालत के प्रति भी आभार व्यक्त किया है। यह उल्लेखनीय है कि जमीयत उलमा-ए-हिंद शुरू से ही दिल्ली दंगों से प्रभावित लोगों की कानूनी सहायता में सक्रिय रही है। प्रारंभिक चरण में संगठन ने लगभग 600 मामलों में ज़मानत दिलाने में सफलता प्राप्त की। वर्तमान में जमीयत दिल्ली दंगों से जुड़े 267 मुकदमों की कानूनी पैरवी कर रही है, जिनमें से 100 से अधिक लोग अब तक बाइज़्ज़त बरी हो चुके हैं। इन मुकदमों की समग्र निगरानी मौलाना नियाज़ अहमद फारूकी, सचिव जमीयत उलमा-ए-हिंद कर रहे हैं। इससे पहले जमीयत के महासचिव मौलाना मोहम्मद हकीमुद्दीन क़ासमी की देखरेख में उत्तर-पूर्वी दिल्ली में दंगा प्रभावित 165 मकानों का पुनर्निर्माण, 11 मस्जिदों तथा 274 दुकानों की मरम्मत एवं बहाली कराई गई थी, जिसमें गोकुलपुरी की प्रसिद्ध टायर मार्केट भी शामिल है। **

Particular slogans are being raised, they are being called a 'particular community', they are being called 'Miya', they are being called 'unknown', they are being called 'doubtful', and derogatory words are being used. That attitude is more painful than the barbaric manner in which the eviction is being carried out. If someone is doubtful, there is a way to clear the doubt. Why do you not adopt that method? If there is a foreigner, why do you not deport them? We are not opposing that. We cannot tolerate a foreigner staying here."
