WHY IS VICE PRESIDENT CHIWENGA IN CHINA? I have read lots of conspiratorial drivel on Vice President Chiwenga’s trip to China which is still underway. Simpletons but very bold keyboard warriors have reeled so many hare-brained theories, including suggesting this was removal by deployment. Of course the idea is feeding into narratives on imagined power struggle in the ruling Zanu PF Party. When ZANU PF opponents are soundly thrashed, they do not seek self-repair; they transpose their own weaknesses to the winner. It is a form of POLITICAL ESCAPISM! A delectable form of self-consolation by imagining the victor is in stress. Here are the facts. VP Chiwenga is in charge of ECONOMIC MINISTRIES; VP Mohadi supervises SOCIAL MINISTRIES. The President has designed it that way so all ministries come under supervision by the Presidency. The President asked VP Chiwenga to go on a whirlwind tour of all provinces, paying especially attention to mining concerns. VP Chiwenga did that and reported back. In between, he also attended a Critical Minerals Summit in South Africa, which the President should have attended. Alongside China, South Africa is a leading destination for our mineral ores and matte. While at the Summit, there was quite some discussion on beneficiation with the South African side, led by that country’s Vice President who will visit Zimbabwe at some point. The tour revealed the lack of coherence and coordination in our value-addition thrust in the mining sector. It also showed that if Zimbabwe ever hopes to benefit from its critical mineral reserve, it must build partnership with leaders in beneficiation, the Chinese in this case. Using the experience of Indonesia which took the same route, Zimbabwe is on a partnership hunt; it has decided to look East for obvious reasons. VP Chiwenga is in China precisely for that purpose and mission. He is tasked to engage the Chinese Govt; he is also tasked to engage Chinese Corporates which can help us structurally transform our mining sector by moving up several value chains, each of which is related to key critical minerals. That is the mission, Comrades, Friends and Foes!!!!!!

THE GOAL OF LIBERATION WAS TO GAIN CONTROL OF THE STATE IN ORDER TO TURN INTO A WEAPON OF STRUGGLE FOR BLACK EMPOWERMENT. DO YOU GUYS GRASP WHAT THE MINISTER IS SAYING? In simple English, the Minister said ZIMSEC is now mandatory in all schools. He did not bar schools from adding other Examination Boards in addition to ZIMSEC!!!! What’s the furore about?? My son who is now in Upper Sixth set for both and passed!!!
