This song brings bad memories in Matebeleland especially to those old enough who witnessed Gukurahundi genocide, this was the song of the 5th Brigade, forcing Matebeleland victims to sing it ,in genocide pungwes ,anyway enjoy your song.

Nhema dzako!!!!

I knew you will not agree with me ,not because it's not true but you defending the Gukurahundi genocide Legacy, you can ask anyone from Matebeleland who is a victim, that was the Genocide pungwes song .

Of course; especially when you think spoiling good national heritage shores up your divisive tribalism!!!!

No no l think you don't get it, look your song is good for you nd your people, because it gives you double victory, Chimurenga Victory & Gukurahundi genocide Victory, though Zanla used it on Chimurenga which was good, The bad part was for the song to be inherited by Gukurahundi

The 5th Brigade, Gukurahundi genocide songs , were Kure Kure, Kurara nenhzara, we were forced to sing them at gun point, people being beaten, murdered, raped, houses burned, so in Matebeleland especially these songs brings bad ,frightening memories

@HNdlera ..it is a warrior song but the dressing makes it miserable for me😒 they should re-do vakapfeka gear chairo✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's now boring

@NPBeats1 Sleep!!!

Very true, i used it on tiktok and I received a message of the venda version. kindly consider steering the 1000’s member comms teams to use it in our brand Zimbabwe videos. It is a powerful song that has a global message. All countries who went through an armed struggle relate.

Indeed. It resonates with the struggles of the African youth. Poor governance and a general lack of leadership has seen so many leaving their homes for faraway "greener pastures".

Ma songs ari Ai generated anekakubhowa so. But anyways nice try. Zim...Lets go continental

lol this is hilarious. It has made me miss home and made me committed to relocating hey.

Do you know who did the original song?

It’s a Shona folk song. We sang it in the 1970s as we grew up. It was there long before.

I remember singing it too when I was young but didn’t know its origins. Ndaifunga yakauya naana “mukoma” kubva Tanzania kana Mozambique

🤣🤣🤣🤣 Most Chimurenga songs came from Church hymns or folk-songs. Of course a few more were original compositions, even then drawing from well-known beats. Chinx was a master-composer when it came to original lyrics. He stood out in that regard!!!!

On a different note mukoma @joseph_kalimbwe achema chema hanzi ndiri kuuya ku Harare mukoma George vakandivharira panze ndapota ngavavhure. Dzorai mwoyo Mhofu inga musangano wakati “vasingazive vanodzidziswa” havarangwe. Toda kuuya naye ku Office kwenyu the drinks are on me😂😂😂

@joseph_kalimbwe Vasingazive, Tsvimbo mugotsi!!!!! He should not tempt us; we will end up being AFROPHOBES too!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣 Just joking; he can come anytime, any day. He is a Zimbabwean only on the other side of the Zambezi, the same way I am Zambian only on the wrong side of Kasabambezi!!!!🙏🙏🙏

@joseph_kalimbwe Ndatenda . Please UNBLOCK him, he is one of us he has seen the light😂😂😂
