Something in the Soil. I got early beta access to Seedance 2.0 from ByteDance's Dreamina AI on Saturday morning. What started as a simple motion and consistency test turned into a full-on, campy creature-feature short inspired by the 1950s B-movies I’ve always loved. I basically spent all Saturday experimenting, and this is what came out of it. We’re not at TV or feature-quality yet, but we're SO CLOSE.

Tested out the new Kling AI 2.0 model on Sunday afternoon. Using ChatGPT, I created a bunch of challenging prompts for images in Midjourney and then animated them in Kling 2.0. It's an incredible leap forward for AI motion. I'll comment on some of the tests below.

The Heist 2 — a fast, gritty sequel to the film I created in December, made in just under three days using Google DeepMind VEO3. I’ve been on the road non-stop, but i had a few days this weekend and I was able bring my original character back to life. It’s really incredible how easy it is to world-build and evolve a story with VMAXX and Flow. I hope you enjoy! #veo3 #TheHeist #googledeepmind

The Heist 3. Set in Miami's Little Havana in the 1980s, this epic adventure was fun to create, as was the soundtrack coming out soon. Looking back at the original The Heist film, which I did in December 2024 when Veo2 came out, the quality of The Heist 3 (one year and three months later) is mind-blowing. I hope you enjoy the next chapter of The Heist storyworld!
