Having AJ Dybantsa as your favorite to win ROTY makes sense on paper until you actually look at how loaded that roster is. You have Trae Young commanding the ball, three former #1 overall picks in the rotation, and guys like Sarr and Johnson who are also nice. Rookie of the Year is almost always won on raw usage and sheer volume on bad teams. AJ might be the best rookie in the class, but when you're playing fourth option on a team trying to win games, the numbers just aren't going to be there.
