ive been messing around with ways to make Claude Code use fewer tokens (so I stop hitting my limit so early 😅) one thing I noticed is how many tokens it wastes searching through files just to understand a repo this weekend I hacked together a tool that gives it a codebase map instead. tested it on 6 repos and it actually decreased token usage quite a bit 🧵

spent an hour thinking ios27 broke my scroll views because content was getting sliced off at the nav bar (i missed the soft blur that was default in ios26). turns out that's just the default now (.hard) but changing one line fixed it for me😀: .scrollEdgeEffectStyle(.soft, for: .all) helpful tip: it propagates down the environment, so you put it at your app root once and every screen gets it.

my run tracking had nice route maps, but logging a lift had no cool workout visualization to look at. so I decided to add a 3D muscle map. every exercise maps to the muscles it works (new workouts are analyzed with on-device ai model), and the body shades each one by how much you actually hit it.

Load times were a bit long for my trip planning app, so I added this fun cork board pinning animation. While the AI model is planning the trip, it scrapes images of the planned activities and displays them in a polaroid style.
