This is why the film Six Pack is special to me. Atlanta International Raceway, 1982. The walkway to the frontstretch stands was alongside the Turn One wall. No catch fence. Pines lined the outer perimeter of the track. By no means the most upscale facility, but special to me.

July 25, 1982- Mark Martin is forced to turn the driving chores over to Ronnie Thomas when a hole in the floorboard sends extreme heat into the Apache Stove Pontiac during the middle stages of the Mountain Dew 500 at Pocono. Mark did manage to post a tenth place finish.
