Debt is $200 billion lower this year than what the Coalition left us. Australia's gross debt as a share of GDP is substantially lower under us than what they forecast in 2022. If the Coalition was in power right now debt would be approaching $1.2 trillion. Our responsible economic management has delivered one of the three strongest budgets in the G20 and much lower debt to GDP than any major advanced economy.
