Amazed by this thoughtful examination of the rent freeze by one of my star summer interns: “Is a rent freeze a sustainable long-term response to our housing crisis, or is it simply a temporary solution to a structural problem? To answer that, we have to look beyond political talking points and examine the economic evidence.” Proud to see the next generation thinking critically about the challenges facing New York. We’re going to need them.
