After Gaten got Finn in trouble with Noah over the whole AUX cord situation, Finn came PREPARED this time—full-on guard dog mode 😭 The second Gaten tried to cut Noah off, Finn shut it down instantly and made it VERY clear where his loyalty sits 💀 And Gaten definitely felt it, hence his: “I mean you guys are fine—” Like… yeah. He clocked the shift 😭

This video explains (a little bit) Finn’s demeanor in the “Noah seeking acting advice from Gaten” clip and why he sometimes came across as jealous/possessive-coded during the press tour 😭 It’s like he instinctively expects Noah’s attention and receptiveness, sometimes briefly forgetting they’re trying to keep things hidden, but the second Noah actually gives it to him openly, he completely short-circuits (watch till end 😭) Further (psych) explanation in the replies.

Finn spends almost the entire interaction panicking trying to fix Noah’s reaction after Gaten says his name 😭 And somehow it just keeps getting worse for him b/c: - his defense doesn’t reassure Noah enough, - Noah has to tap in Millie for backup, - Caleb jumps in defending Noah too, - and Finn slowly (and painfully) realizes everyone else is comforting his man better than he is 💀😩 THAT’S why he’s so stressed and irritated by the end.
