Expert Warns: “An October 7 Scenario From Judea and Samaria Could Be Ten Times Larger” Lt. Col. (res.) Adv. Maurice Hirsch, Adv. Director of the Palestinian Authority Accountability and Reform Initiative at the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs (JCFA), warns of a scenario in which the Palestinian security forces turn their weapons against Israel. According to Hirsch, the argument that the Palestinian Authority is deterred and that the security barrier would prevent a large-scale infiltration is dangerously reminiscent of the assumptions that preceded the October 7 attack. “On October 7, there were 6,000 terrorists – 3,000 trained and skilled terrorists and another 3,000 who joined them. Here, you have ten times that number,” Hirsch said on Dr. Gadi Taub’s “Gatekeeper” podcast. According to Hirsch, a scenario in which hundreds of armed men simultaneously arrive at checkpoints and points along the seam line could place Israel’s major population centers in direct danger: “Eighty percent of the fence is a simple wire fence that can be pushed aside, and that’s it.” Hirsch warns that the Palestinian Authority has no external enemy that would justify maintaining a force of such magnitude: “The only enemy they see is the State of Israel.” He argues that after October 7, Israel cannot afford to base its security on the assumption that a large armed force will simply choose not to act against it.

FORMER MOSSAD OFFICIAL: ERDOĞAN'S TURKEY IS ISRAEL'S NEXT STRATEGIC THREAT Sagiv Asulin, a former senior Mossad official and researcher at the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs, warns that Turkey is no longer just another regional player, but a rising power seeking to lead the Sunni axis alongside Qatar. According to Asulin, the combination of Turkey's growing military capabilities and Qatar's influence and information warfare creates a significant strategic threat to Israel. "We must take President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's statements against Israel seriously and maintain sustained diplomatic pressure on the United States, especially as some in Washington view Turkey as a strategic partner alongside Israel," he says. Asulin argues that the very discussion in Washington about strengthening Ankara's position should raise serious concerns in Jerusalem, even if a potential F-35 deal remains far from becoming reality.

Peace between Israel and Lebanon can be warm and active, rooted in shared history, trade, religious tourism, and real economic opportunity, not rockets or empty slogans. Gen Z Israelis grew up hearing that Iranians hated them. Then Operation Roaring Lion came. And something unexpected happened. Many Israelis realized the people cheering for them online from Tehran, Shiraz, and Isfahan weren't their enemies. As Effi Banay puts it in a new episode with Sogand Sara Fakheri: "The regime is the problem. Not the Iranian people." Today, Israelis sit in shelters from m*ssiles launched by a regime that also oppresses 90 million Iranians.

Hamas Will Not Disarm, It Is Using Time to Rebuild Lt. Col. (res.) Adv. Maurice Hirsch, Adv. 🇮🇱 עו''ד מוריס הירש, a senior researcher at the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs, says there is no reason to expect Hamas to disarm voluntarily: “It has no incentive to do so. It is restoring its control.” According to him, the organization is exploiting the current period to rebuild its military and economic power, using violence and revenue streams from aid. “It is rebuilding force, money, and control while the world debates what to do,” he concludes.

A state isn’t slogans. It’s bread, medicine, and a salary you can live on. If they can’t deliver that, they don’t get our silence. As Sogand Sara Fakheri says: don’t be silent. Don’t be afraid. Iran will return to its people.

🚨 QATAR: “THE MEDIATOR” BEHIND TERROR GROUPS Qatari opposition leader خالد الهيل KHALID AL-HAIL says Doha has no real geopolitical value of its own, which is why it manufactures relevance by funding extremist groups and then presenting itself to the West as the indispensable mediator. From Afghanistan to Hamas and the Taliban, the same pattern repeats: support first, mediation later, legitimacy in the end. According to Al-Hail, those who negotiate with terrorists are often the ones who helped create them. From the full East to West episode w/ Balig Sladeen, released this weekend 👇
