🚨 HAMAS WILL NEVER DISARM VOLUNTARILY Dr. Dr. Dan Diker, President of the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs, warned that expecting Hamas to disarm on its own is a dangerous illusion. “Hamas is driven by jihad. In jihad, there is no compromise - only victory or shahada,” Diker said, stressing that this is not only Israel’s challenge, but one facing the United States and the West. Former Mossad Official: No Peace in Lebanon Without Dismantling Hezbollah Oded Ailam, former head of the Counter-Terrorism Division at the Mossad and a researcher at the Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs (JCFA), told CBS that Israel’s objective in Lebanon is not Hezbollah’s surrender, but the dramatic reduction of its capabilities and the restoration of Lebanese sovereignty. According to Ailam, as long as Beirut is unable to disarm Hezbollah and impose its authority over the organization, no agreement will endure over time. Ailam stressed that peace is impossible with a jihadist organization whose declared goal is the destruction of Israel. “You can sign any agreement, but it will not last more than a few years,” he said. In his view, the only path to genuine stability is the complete dismantling of Hezbollah and the full restoration of Lebanese sovereignty throughout the country.
