It’s Day 1 of Training Camp, and we have a self-driving ice resurfacer cleaning the ice at the Avalanche practice facility

Q: What's going through your mind when you see [MacKinnon] dropping the gloves like that? Blackwood: "Fucking rights. I don't want him to fight much because you don't want him to get hurt, but I don't know, the guy's got big balls"

Not 100% sure he’ll play, but he looks good

Yeah… Gabe Landeskog is back

I was told before the game started that they were expecting a crowd that was going to challenge for the US attendance record…. Denver showed up. Chants of “we want a team” broke out inside Ball Arena after the record was announced.

Pavel Francouz… with a man bun???

Gabe Landeskog back out at morning skate.

"The way we all grow up in the Maritimes, it's pretty gritty, most guys from that area are pretty feisty... getting punched isn't that fun, but the guys seem to like it, so maybe I'll do it a couple more times" Great stuff from Nathan MacKinnon after the Avs win 3-2 in Dallas

"It's an intense game, and he didn't say a great word to me, and I didn't like the word, and yeah we fought" MacKinnon went on to say that he extended the invitation to fight to Brandt Clarke

"Again, I really don't give a crap if the goalie is hurt. That's on their D-man, not our guy" - Jared Bednar on MacKinnon ejection

Do NOT miss Parker Kelly's breakdown of Canada/Czechia OT "Are we actually going to go out and practice right now? This is insane"

Had a GREAT chat with Scott Wedgewood today Here I asked him about Nikita Kucherov's comments on the game now being "faster, but very dumb". Thought Scott's answer was really interesting

A major change for the Avs in terms of their pregame. The team is now entering the ice through the corner vom door after walking by a line of fans. For 30 years, they have gone straight from the locker room to the bench, and then onto the ice.

A phone on the table started ringing during media day... so Gabe Landeskog answered lol

I’m anxious to get an up-close look at Ilya Nabokov this year Probably Colorado’s most interesting goalie prospect in quite a while

Gabe Landeskog’s participation in morning skate is starting to become a frequent occurrence.

I asked Peter Forsberg about Gabe Landeskog, his journey back, and him captaining Team Sweden. And Forsberg said it's all because Gabe has ✨AURA✨

Peter Forsberg on the ice in Denver, in an Avs jersey.

Gabe Landeskog’s first Pro goal in 3 years.

Starting at Left Wing, #92 Gabe Landeskog

Gabe Landeskog is back

Here is Jared Bednar's update on Gabe Landeskog from today after practice. To me... it sounds like there was maybe a setback.

Oh, so this is the vibe for this season? I love it.
