I had never seen Ghost in the Shell until a few months ago. I assumed it would be underwhelming. It's a 90's anime and even if good —probably been done to death, right? I was wrong, and this clip nestled in the middle demonstrates the unbelievable artistry of the film.

I think this is my best video. It's 19 minutes of analyzing the color theory of Aladdin. It never really took off on YT, so why not try it here? I'm not convinced people want long videos on here, but if it goes mega-viral (like art theory content tends to) I'll admit I'm wrong.

After 12 years of drawing almost entirely digitally I began slowly putting those tools away in favor of traditional methods. This clip is from the linked video not where I disparage digital, but where I reflect on my experiments with traditional and what I've learned.
