Jack Crowley was nigh on flawless today. Super game. Really mature performance on both sides of the ball. Played when he had to and put others into the game when he needed. Did really well here too despite Steyn trying to go through him.

Conor Murray knew, James Lowe knew, the crowd knew and I think the linesman knew too. Simple and correctable mistake went uncorrected.

Not sure about the French citings of Beirne et al but shur while we’re at it Easterby should bang in an aul citing for Penauds opportunistic shoulder to the face of Crowley. Happened just before Prendergasts chip through in the 22 for Herring.

Aldegheri got a 20 minute red card for a shoulder charge to the head on a player without the ball. What exactly is the threshold for just a plain old fashioned red card these days? Because this should qualify A real props cheap shot.

Just following on from the Aldegheri tweet from last week - This from Deegan was the reddest of red cards. Don’t know why the referee goes yellow and bunker instead of just flashing red.

Honestly the one thing that always catches my eye in all this 60ish seconds is how quickly Jordi Barrett tucks his gumshield into his sock as the ball is being kicked out for full time.

Thought Prendergast was super today in an overall poor Irish performance. Physical on both sides of the ball,busy with 17 tackles and got a score for himself. Think this window is a good chance for him to make the jersey his own.
