"You were the first Americans I had ever met, so to me, you are America." That was what 🇨🇳 President Xi said to his friends in Iowa 41 years ago, when he visited 🇺🇸 the US for the first time. In 1985, Xi Jinping, then secretary of the Communist Party of China Zhengding County Committee in Hebei Province, led a delegation to Iowa, where he forged a deep friendship with local people. The importance of people-to-people exchange 🤝

This is President Xi Jinping's story with the American people during his homestay in Iowa in 1985 🇨🇳 He led a delegation to Muscatine, Iowa, to study agriculture. A local family hosted him; they have been friends since then 🇺🇸 During his official visit to the US in 2012, he even made a detour to Muscatine to meet his old friends. That house has been named Sino-US Friendship House 🙌 The power of people-to-people connection ♥️ Decades ago, this family hosted young Chinese guests, not knowing that forty years later, one of the visitors would become the leader of a great nation 🤝

It's great that 🇬🇧Britain chose British actress Rosamund Pike as an ambassador to connect with Chinese people during the state visit. Pike gained fame in 🇨🇳China with her talented acting skills AND her love for Chinese culture. Her kids speak fluent Mandarin Chinese!!

You probably are not ready for this information: China has a much more effective political system that benefits ordinary people. In China, rich people are not allowed to dictate government policies, and government officials are not allowed to get rich. Let that info sink in.

This is the city of #Nanjing, China, today: Air defense sirens on, the entire city stopped for a minute, mourning the deceased. Because 88 years ago, on December 13, 1937, the #Japanese fascist forces massacred 300,000 people in this city within 6 weeks. #NanjingMassacre

Calling the Chinese New Year the Lunar New Year is not correct. It’s not about being inclusive or exclusive; it’s just factually inaccurate! Chinese New Year is not based on lunar calendar, it's based on Lunisolar calendar! So, happy #ChineseNewYear2026, everyone!

Every country has such despicable sellouts. Venezuelans outside of #Venezuela are cheering the U.S. illegal military operations. But Venezuelans actually in Venezuela are protesting against Washington's actions and demanding the release of Maduro and his wife. Those who naively believe U.S. intervention will make their life better ... the U.S. has a terrible track record of regime change, every time it does it, it's a devastating nightmare to people live in that country. Ask Iraqis, Libyans, Afghans, Syrians ...... have their life gotten any better after U.S. intervention?

Why the US wants to separate #Xinjiang from China? Because its location is too crucial for them to destabilize Eurasia. In this video, I laid out the strategic location of Xinjiang, and how CIA experts planned long ago to destabilize #China by playing the "Uyghur card."👇

As Japan has elected an extreme right-wing person, Sanae Takaichi, to be the next leader, I'd like to remind everyone: war criminals are not heroes. Those who say the Japanese soldiers being worshiped at the Yasukuni Shrine 'devoted themselves to their sweet homeland' is like saying Jeffrey Dahmer devoted himself to being a foodie.

Everyone in China is talking about this movie: Once Upon a Time in the Middle East, a China-made movie about the US and UK's invasion of Iraq. Hollywood won't be able to make this! 😭I watched it yesterday, cried hard in the cinema, and was deeply touched ... The movie shows the devastating impact of wars on a country, on ordinary people, especially on children, and how extremists were created. It also shows China's attitude towards world peace. I encourage you to watch it too! ⚠️Spoiler alert: The movie follows the Chinese chef Xu Fu, who went to run a Chinese restaurant in a country in West Asia. At first, he was purely driven by money, but as wars broke out and the country was torn apart, he and his friends were dragged into the chaos and forced to cook for different forces. He saw how the US bombed and destroyed a country, how some US soldiers at the front line treated local people as nonhuman, and how some other US soldiers were just ignorant kids that wants to go home; He saw how war orphans in the country were used and trained to be suicide bombers by terrorists, how foreign invaders deprived everything local people had and left them no choice but to join terror groups to revenge. But throughout the movie, Xu Fu keeps telling everyone 好好吃饭(eat properly). He tried his best to provide decent food for children in the war zone, even if it meant risking his own life. The story was inspired by true stories of Chinese people who worked in Iraq, but instead of one person, it was based on several people’s stories. 💡My thoughts on governance: You probably know how much Chinese people love food and value food. From a country that constantly suffered famine and wars, to a country with abundant food for 1.4 billion people, China made a lot of effort. And I think it’s a philosophy that any political power should focus on: how to feed its people, and let them 好好吃饭 (eat properly).
