I like how instead of being shown right away like the manga, Hey Ya! was just a voice and it was only brief. We follow up with Mrs. Robinson but it turns out he's using bugs to trigger cactuses. Then the Boomboom's show up and its legit stands More gradual but more impactful imo

loving the fact that sega made arcade games about beetles beating the living hell out of each other (mushiking)

I like the idea of him just disappearing, but the issue is in the execution. the droning background sound keeps going after he disappears. it makes it feel like a cartoony poof away rather than scary imo i think it's more impactful to cut out all sound except the knife &amp; jotaro

my brain lives for the way stone ocean handled onomatopoeia. it was just the best in the series in both design and use imo
