J-Hope on his Weverse Live today: 🐿️: As for "Hooligan," it wasn't really something I did on my own. #Jungkook took the lead on it and put a lot of work into it. 🐿️: I was mostly there to support Jungkook. Thank you, Hobi🫶🏻

It's honestly fascinating how quickly some people change their arguments when it comes to #Jungkook🤦🏻‍♀️ At this point, it's not even surprising anymore, it's become a pattern. When Golden was released, they mocked him for supposedly not writing songs. They claimed he wasn't a songwriter, that his contribution was minimal, that he couldn't succeed without songs written by others. Conveniently, they ignored the fact that Jungkook is an official member of KOMCA and the only member of BTS's vocal line registered as a songwriter and composer. Then the Arirang era arrived. And suddenly, some of the album's most discussed, beloved and viral tracks turned out to be the very songs Jungkook helped create: 2.0, Aliens, FYA and Hooligan😂 Of course, that immediately became a problem too. Now they've moved the goalposts. Suddenly, the success of these songs isn't the result of their quality, audience interest or Jungkook's influence. No, now it's "favoritism", "pushing" and yet another conspiracy theory. What's especially amusing is hearing this about Hooligan, a song that, from the very beginning and according to the members themselves, was largely created and developed by Jungkook. Mini-thread⬇️

I honestly don’t understand why people call this "brotherly play" or "something cute" and even find it a subject for jokes and humor. During today’s Weverse live, there was a moment when Jin pushed Jungkook upside down. It looked dangerous. Not funny, not touching, but genuinely risky for his health. He could have seriously injured his neck. Let’s be real, if he had actually gotten hurt, no one would be calling it "feelings" or "bonding". This is not about infantilizing Jungkook . He is an adult, strong and capable. But adults can get injured too, especially when a movement is sudden and unexpected. Closeness and friendship do not remove the risk. Close relationships ≠ no boundaries. A joke ≠ safety. What made it even worse was the reaction immediately afterward, comments praising physical strength and joking about furniture, as if nothing serious had just happened. That kind of response doesn’t make the moment lighter, it makes it feel even more unsettling. You can love and support them while still admitting that some moments cross a line or are simply unsafe. Critical thinking is not hate. What bothers me the most is how any concern is instantly dismissed with phrases like "it’s normal", "you’re overreacting" or "they’re family". Caring is not overreacting. Caring means not ignoring potential danger. I have no words. I really didn’t want to start the New Year with negativity, but this situation was something else. I literally screamed when I saw that moment, it was completely unexpected. And you know what? You say that there’s something wrong with us - that we don’t understand jokes, games, or that we don’t have friends… But the truth is, the fact that you find this normal and funny says that something is wrong with you, not us. I hope Jungkook is always safe, and I hope that adults will finally reconsider their behavior - behavior that either puts him in uncomfortable situations or could one day seriously harm someone’s health.

[ CASTING #JUNGKOOK ] "Interview with Big Hit’s casting director Noh Min-mi" 🗣️: "Director, you are known as the one who conducted the casting of BTS members. What were your feelings when you first saw them?" 👤: "When I came to the company, RM and j-hope were already there. But I began to take part in casting with Suga. And the first member for whom I personally conducted the casting from the very beginning was Jungkook. He took part in the program Superstar K, where he received a lot of business cards from different companies… And then I see a boy with bright, shining eyes, a very cute appearance, and even some kind of “aura” around him. I thought: "Wow, what a wonderful boy!" And as if under hypnosis, I immediately gave him my card, took his contacts, and let him go. But at the same moment I noticed that other casting directors from different companies also paid attention to Jungkook. Usually the process is like this: you bring a person to the audition, he passes the selection, and only then he can become a trainee. But at that moment he already received so many offers that I realized, I could lose him. I turned to the company: "What will we do? I think he cannot be missed". And unexpectedly I heard in response: "If you are sure, then let’s sign a contract right away". I was shocked, because usually it is not done like this. But I felt that this was a chance that could not be missed. Right then I called Jungkook’s father and said: "We want to sign a contract with your son". To which he answered: "And why doesn’t Big Hit set an audition date like all the other companies, but immediately offers a contract?" At that moment, as if by intuition, I said: "There is huge potential in your son. I must take him". And here is a funny detail - when I called Jungkook himself, he had a waiting melody on the phone, a song of 2AM. At that time we were engaged in the management of the group 2AM, and I even told Jungkook’s father about it. We then talked a lot and for a long time on the phone, and one day he suddenly called me himself and said: "We decided to sign a contract with Big Hit". Later I found out an interesting thing: other companies were literally begging him to meet, saying they would wait at Seoul Station just to get a chance to talk. But Jungkook’s father answered: "No. We already decided to sign a contract". And that is how we signed a contract with Jungkook. It really was like fate: both that his father believed in our company, and that the management agreed to sign without an audition, all this coincided and became a real miracle. Even now, every day it still seems amazing to me"
