The reason why our Indian dogs suffer is this, the colonial hangover. Right now I saw these imported dogs out for a walk near Lodhi Garden, Central Delhi. The owners must have been a rich industrialist or a politician or a senior govt offcial who doesn't have time for his pets but can afford servants. While our indies suffer on the streets without any help and failure of MCD and govt at large, on top of it our apex court wants to take away their right to simply exist on places where they were born free. "Fair and Lovely" complex at full force ! #AwaraNahiHumaraHai

This #MothersDay , a mother dog reminded us what courage looks like. She gave birth to her puppies inside a manufacturing plant surrounded by heavy machines and constant danger. Instead of throwing them out or ignoring them, the company chose compassion. They gave the mother and her babies shelter, food, safety and care. Humanity still exists where kindness is chosen over cruelty. Happy Mother’s Day to every #mother — human and animal.
