Since Steve Kerr is Team USA coach, there's obviously some Warriors sets transferred over to the national team. One of which occurred during their scrimmage vs. the select team -- and triggered by someone yelling out "What the f***", a staple sideline out-of-bounds (SLOB) set.

Last night, Luka tried to hunt Steph several times by acting as a screener to force the switch. It's just not a sustainable form of offense. Steph and Draymond are seasoned anti-switch-hunting operators. It may work once, but it most likely won't work again. It only takes the possession after Luka scores on the Steph switch for Steph and Draymond to shut it down the following possession through scram switching and Steph hedging out. A subtle masterclass in on-the-fly adjustments.

Steph with the FIBA line is like a grown man dunking on a kiddie hoop.

The Warriors performed subtle manipulation of Victor Wembanyama last night using their "Quick Touch" set, depending on who their five-man was. With Draymond Green, they used Wemby's low concern level with Draymond (and Jimmy Butler) out on the perimeter against him. With Al Horford, they used Butler's playmaking in the roll to stretch Wemby thin and force him to make a decision.

Broke down the Luka dagger and the Mavs did some really subtle things that made it hard for the Wolves to: 1. Prevent the switch onto Rudy 2. Send a double to help Rudy Hard to detect in real time and it looks like the Wolves made a mistake in coverage (probably still did), but the Mavs deserve HUGE credit for what they did to get Luka this matchup and shot.

Nuggets have made a crucial adjustment to the Wolves' tactic of having KAT stay on Jokić whenever he rolls. Watch Christian Braun. He sets an initial screen ("ram" screen) on KAT to delay him from the ball-screen action. When Jokić sets the screen, KAT is forced to step up to cover Jamal coming off, which doesn't allow him to recover back toward Jokić. Jamal's able to hit Jokić in the short roll, which puts the Wolves defense in rotation. Braun with a huge three.

Look, I'm not sure trying to cut toward the same space where Steph is cutting is the right idea
