Since I’m a rookie actor, I thought, “Maybe my seat is somewhere toward the back.” So I started looking for it from the back, but it wasn’t there. What actually gave me chills in this scene were Kwak Dong Yeon and Cho Seung Woo's vocal performances. The Crown Prince's voice starts with shock and disbelief when he realizes that his own father has given him poison to die. Then, within seconds, it gradually shifts into sadness, disappointment, and finally anger toward the King. This part is especially chilling because the emotional progression in his voice rises slowly but steadily, allowing the audience to feel every stage of his emotions. What makes the scene even more powerful is the King's delivery. His voice remains calm and composed, yet beneath that calmness you can clearly hear the sorrow of a father who feels that he has failed to raise his son properly. Cho Seung Woo conveys that sadness, disappointment, and regret so perfectly through his tone and manner of speaking. It's no surprise that the PD chose not to use dubbing (ADR) and instead kept the original on set recordings for this scene. Damn, Seonho and Younjung were absolutely insane. I could genuinely feel both of their emotions when they became Hojin and Muhee in Can This Love Be Translated. Please… I was literally crying by the ending of episode 9. It’s hard to explain, but the look in Hojin’s eyes the shock on his face when he finds out Muhee’s secret was portrayed so perfectly by Seonho. And the way he breaks down, holding her while being unable to say anything at all… that moment destroyed me.
